City Manager Rick Daniels has made a reasonable case for the positive aspects of locating the proposed County Jail within the Desert Hot Springs sphere of influence and the benefits the city could derive from the facility, but how about taking it a step further?

CABAZON, CA- County Supervisor Marion Ashley came by on Wednesday to the Community Center in Cabazon to answer questions to Whitewater and Palm Springs residents in regards to a new jail being built, but he soon walked away when questions began to intensify.
