YUCCA VALLEY, CA- On Sunday night around 9:00 p.m., a Joshua Tree man was killed in a traffic collision in Yucca Valley.Deputies were dispatched near the intersection of Joshua Lane and Navajo Trail after the collision took place. Due to the nature of this incident, M.A.I.T, (Multi Accident Investigation Team), responded to the scene.Based on physical evidence located at the scene of this collision, it appears a dark green Dodge pick-up truck was traveling northbound on Joshua Lane when for unknown reason(s), the driver lost control of the truck and rolled approximately four to five times before coming to rest on its roof top. Deputies on scene discovered the driver inside the cab of the truck. The driver was deceased due to the injuries sustained in this collision.

The Driver was later identified as Kevin Alan Korcha, 44 of Joshua Tree. The cause of this collision is still under investigation at this time.
